Rental Terms & Conditions:

Payment/ Deposit
  • Deposit and balance payment for the unit may be made using check, money order, or major credit card. Please inform us at time of booking your intended form of payment so that we can process your payment accordingly
  • $500 Deposit is due within 10-days of booking request. $1000 Deposit required for rentals of 3 weeks or longer

  • Additional Fees
  • An optional $9/ day parking fee paid directly to Aston Resorts payable through the front desk
  • There is a Fitness Center available at the resort. (Please check with the front desk on daily rates)
  • Local telephone calls are $0.95 per call
  • Lost key fee is $100

  • Check-in/ Check-out times
  • Check-in Time 3:00 PM. Check-out Time 11:00 AM. Unless otherwise arranged through the owner, the 11 AM check-out time is strictly enforced. This is to provide sufficient time to prepare the unit for our next guests.
  • Late Check-out Requests: We understand that the majority of flights returning to the mainland depart late in the the evening. If this is the case with your flight, you may request a departure as late as 7 PM. In certain circumstances, and assuming we do not have another rental checking in the same day, we may allow for a late check-out; however this is not in any way guaranteed. If you would like to guarantee a late checkout, we are pleased to offer this guarantee for a charge of 75% of the nightly rate, assuming availability

  • Smoking/ Pets Policy
  • Kaanapali Shores is a non-smoking property; there is absolutely no smoking in the unit or on the lanai. Violation of this rule will lead to an additional fee for deep cleaning of carpets, drapes, and furniture. There are designated smoking areas located on the property by the beach.
  • We maintain a pet free environment for the comfort of our guests with allergies and asthma. No pets are permitted in the unit.

  • Property Damage & Liability
  • The overall purpose of this clause is to ensure that general care and common sense are used when occupying the unit. Our hope is that the Renter will treat our home like their own. The owner does not consider normal wear and tear as damage, nor will the owner seak financial retribution for minor accidents (i.e. a broken glass or plate); however, we request the Renter informs us of such an occurance so that we can re-stock the unit for the next guests.
  • The person signing the rental agreement agrees that he/she will be part of the group occupying the property during the rental period and is the individual responsible for ensuring adherence to all house rules. The Renter agrees to be liable for and financially responsible for any damage or missing items during the occupancy. Damage to the property or replacement of broken or missing items will be charged at 100% of the cost incurred. In the event of damage or missing items a full detailed accounting will be provided.
  • A list of valuables will be provided with your check-in instructions. Ensure all items are present and in good working order when checking in.
  • The person signing the Rental Agreement agrees that the owner(s) are not liable for any loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property arising from the use of our unit or the common areas, including the pool, or any of the amenities provided.

  • Credit Card Guarantee
  • Regardless of payment form, we require Renters to pledge a “credit card guarantee” to protect from any expenses, damages, or loss of items from the property during the Renters stay. These expenses include charges incurred for services, long-distance calls, damaged or missing property, additional rental fees associated with a Renter overstaying, etc. In extreme circumstances charges may be applied for loss of revenue from future rentals.

  • Other Terms
  • If deposits and final payments are not received prior to the due dates the reservation is subject to cancellation.
  • Renter understands that tile floors can be slippery when wet and will excersise caution when re-entering the unit from outside; especially with children.
  • There is no life guard on duty at the pools or at the beach. Renter will adhere to all posted warnings and signs regarding safety on the property.
  • All items found in the unit belong to the owners, not the hotel. All items provided must be kept within the unit, or if taken out (e.g. children's beach toys or plastic glassware), returned and restocked prior to check-out.
  • For your convenience, we have added many amenities that one would normally not find in a typical hotel/condo rental, such as additional kitchenware, board games, DVD's etc. Please ensure these items are cleaned and put away for the next guests. Not doing so could lead to additional cleaning charges.
  • This agreement is the entire agreement between the parties and can only be changed in writing.
  • This agreement is subject to acceptance by the owners. Acceptance shall be deemed to occur upon the cashing of your deposit check or processing of your credit card.
  • The maximum number of guests permited to stay overnight in the unit during your stay is the number of guests indicated in your party on page 1. The maximum number of people that can occupy the unit without constituting a violoation of this agreement is 6.
  • Owner reserves the right to substitute apartments should the unit become uninhabitable due to circumstances beyond the owner's control.
